Default HP Mix/Hybrid selling

I've seen (don't yet have) several machines with all HP on top, and tube lamps on bottom. (Dr. M, Sportarredo, etc)
How do you effectively sell this to your customers? I'm just thinking that if HP is so great, why would you only offer it on one side of the tanner then?
I'm seriously looking into ALL types of machinery as 2009 slowly grinds to an end, so these hybrids are also under consideration.
Thanks. I'll hang up and listen.

Yeah, I've never been a fan of the Combi bed, Either commit to all HP or not.

However the Ergo 650, Ergo 850 & Soltron Shark are some pretty popular units. With the right lamp in the base you can give a nice even overall tan.

What John said. The 850 and Shark are pretty weak beds compared to many real HP beds but...they still tan and people don't always notice between real good and great.

The main thing about hybrids is you CAN'T explain them to customers. Because it makes no sense to go into the "tanning" part of tanning.

Put a high A and lower B lamp in the bench...and call it a "real good tanning bed" which it is.

Use a 7.0 meter to KNOW how many MED's the unit is putting out top v bottom and set exposure time for the correct amount.

These beds will outtan MOST Vhr units and will do it with about 3 meds if lampped correctly. The old 650 will outtan ALL vhr beds if you let it go for the legal 15 mins!

The fact that you can't flip over on the newer Ergos with the contoured acrylics makes matching top and bottom lamps even more important.
