Default Stuff to help

Here is some cool things we do, maybe it will help you.

Text your appointments- We brought in a texting cell phone to the salon. Clients sign up, and we send them a message of how the program works. They Text in their appointments. You can also send "Text Specials" to you list. or use a texting service like www.nightlifetexting.com

Email list- Sign up online. We send monthly newsletter. We use www.bravenet.com. Free service up to 500 emails, then up to 3000 emails for $99 per year.

Myspace and face book advertising-- it works! scroll down to the bottom of any myspace page and click on "advertise". It's easy to setup and very cost effective.

I spend $175 in one month...got 600k immpressions from people in my area [12 mile radius]. 1300 clicks
Picked up about 20 new clients and saw alot people I have not seen in a while....it works! I can't wait untill I start my "xmas gift certificate campaign"

Good luck to all this holiday season

on your texting appointments...you allow them to text in their appointment or are you sending reminders via text? You have a cell for the shop and use it just for texting? I'm thinking of doing a text "special" but didn't think about appointments.

With all this new tech...anybody changing their policy on no internet or cell use while working? With twitter/FB/text I can't keep up with it all myself.

"xmas campaign" is just a slug line...Weather is WX. Traffic is TX. I was Tv director for a news channel. Sorry to offend.

the 'Text Your Appointment" service is just a regular text cell phone with Sprint. ....a phone that never leaves the salon and sits on the counter.
Here's how it works...
1. Come in to sign up for the program
2. We ....will enroll you in our system and send you a Text Message with the details and our new "Text Messaging Phone Number".
3. Save our Texting Phone Number in your phone and send us a message when you want to make an appointment. You must wait for our reply for your appointment to be confirmed.
4. You can cancel your enrollment by calling us at 878-3981

The phone we bought does not have "mass send" text to all contacts. Try to get a phone that will allow you to send "text specials" to everyone.

We signed up with another service to send mass text at 20 cents each www.nightlifetexting.com If we bought the right phone we would not need this service.

good luck...clients love it

If you have Verizonwireless, it has Vtext.com

Do it all online. Send mass texts.
