This article is in the Baltimore Sun. I know several people have posted articles about this on here (including me), but since this is a large publication I think our comments will have more impact here.

it seems like a losing battle everyday and it's gonna get worse! It's getting
depressing to come to work everyday when it is slow enough but than we
have to put up with this, i'm exhausted!

say if they ban all kids everywhere from tanning will this end the bad publicity and leave us alone or will things get worse? I can't believe how bad the anti tan ban has gotten.

Keep em outa a controlled environment. EVERY OTHER DAY at an appropriate time for their specific skin types......and throw em all into the sun and let them figure it out based on how burned they get. Dumb FUKKKKS

I wondered that also Jordie. Perhaps an across the board 18 ban and perhaps limit to every 24 hours or 48 hours and call it a day. I too am tired of this crap.

I doubt they will stop at restricting under 18 years old. Thats just a place to start for them. When they get that accomplished they will find something else to hit us below the belt with.

^^ exactly. That's why SELF regulation is so important. We should be able to govern our own industry. Government regulation is NOT a good thing.

I was there last night- he said she went six days in a row and burned. It took you 6 days to notice your kid was sun burned? Why didn't you step in on day 2 or 3?? Exactly- you don't know what your kid is doing, and that's OUR fault!

And yes, the woman with a history of skin cancer DEATHS in her family admitted to going tanning. HELLO?!?!

Self regulate and ban 18 years and under from tanning??? ABSOLUTELY NOT! That would mean I think tanning is not good for you. Sorry I've done my research and know for a fact otherwise!

Did he release the name of the salon and get them to show him his daughters records for her week of tanning, did anyone question him where and did he take photos of her sunburn to prove this? I bet there are none.
