| lowest valleys in the 282-291 range. The rest of the jumping below that seems more typical across most of the lamps.

Scroll up to the graph with the title "RE: A - H Comparison - Linear" and compare the energy peak in "H" at 360-380 nm with the others. Keep in mind that you only have 100% irradiance and if you "burn it up" in the UVB range (the "H" lamp has 3.46% UVB!) it reduces what is available to use in the "tanning power" range, i.e., > 350 nm. |

What wavelengths present in HID/hp systems account for the fact that they have more tanning power than any of the new era lamps? Matthew: No. But I have been told that it doesn't have enough UVB and, therefore, has a VERY long Te time. I'll see if I can get a case and test them. |

This was the best information received during the Solaria about lamps, Cosmedico and Heraeus had the wrost/bad informations. |

Is it down like it is here in the USA? [Note: In case some of you don't know, when Vito talks about "European standards" he refers to the fact that UVB is defined as being from 280 nm - 315 nm there whereas it is 280 nm - 320 nm here. Thus, the UVB% is lower and the UVA2% is higher when the European standard is used.] |

I know in other countries things are doing not too good. In germany franchise chains are selling single sessions on VHR beds for 4/5 euro. Little salon owner are closing... |
