She should head over to TanSquawk where they are always NICE... where everybody knows your name(s), and where someone named NEON will ban you if you're not 100% nice to smurfs. |

Most of the people so fed up with this "name changing" crap that even if you want to learn - nobody is going to talk to you because you are pissing everybody off right now. And if you work for northtanman/jim@veranotan - go work: clean bed or something. Internet is not for employees. The threads you posting on right now are about sunlamps - so talk about sunlamps or shut the f!ck up. |

This is not a site where employee's come on to back up their bosses. If your boss has an issue with something that was said, I'm sure they can express their opinions on here like everyone else does or they can contact a moderator if they have any issues. These are Salon Owners that opened their own business, put their own sweat and blood into building their businesses over the years....everyone has their own opinion, experiences and therefore come to their own conclusions from that. If you guys want to talk about each other or battle out your differences, take it to the pub and knock yourself out....Now please get back on topic which is about sunlamps. Anyway, I am sure I will get ridiculed for this, but we really like our Cosmolux 160 watt VHRs used in several of our upgrades. (I believe our standard beds have California Tan Helio 100watt 5% UVB) Someone else mentioned Sol Glass, which I recently read about and think they sound very impressive.

(when compared to what is out there) And "California Tan" lamps? Are they as good as the "soaking up the rays" lamps Come on. Why buy PL lamps from CT unless you got them dirt cheap.? |

Okay, so I am going to throw in my 2 cents (okay so it's not worth nearly that much). It would be great to spend the money to have the very best of everything. The very best lamps, the very best beds. Upgrade everytime a new model comes out. (Sell off everything and buy new equipment everytime somebody on a forum tells you all your stuff is crap, LOL. J/K) Not always economically feasible, right? So try to research what your competitors are using and at least get what it takes to be the best in town. As money comes in, improve upon from there if need be to stay on top of your competitor. But unless you can afford it, don't try to swat a fly with a buick. Anyway, is there even a clear consensus on what exactly is the very best lamp on the market? Just curious.
