| I just took over salon. It has 3x Wolff Sunquest Pro 24S, 2x Montego Bay 24, Suncapsule XL Stand up (i am bringing in VHR60/9) Sunquests currently have Heraeus MagicSun 20/100 Montegos have 2 type of lamps (every other): Genesis 105 watt Plus and Euro Bronze Magnifier 70+. What is your lamp suggestion to blow away current customers? |

My concern would with those lamps would be that they are reflectors & they may cause stripes on some customers. The Genesis 105 Plus is a 100W 6.5% UVB lamp. Not a bad choice. The EuroBronze 7.0+ is only a 5% UVB. For the Entry level I would go with LSI Beach Sun or Heraeus 6.5's or Philips Advantage. The Suncapsule XL I believe is a 100W unit that came with an F72/7.9 Instatan lamp. You can stick with that or use the LSI Equator Sun. If it is the Suncapsule Excel unit, then is uses the 100W Bipin Hi Tan lamps. You can use LSI, Heraeus or Philips will also work well. __________________ |

My Instantan 8.9's in the test stand are only 7.7% UVB... but that's still a LOT compared to the new era lamps. | |
