Default Mixing high A with high B

Didn't want to hijack Din's thread so here we go.
It was said a lot that lamps like 9k90 after 350-400 hrs still push 45-47 on 5.0 but 30% of the customers complain.(that happened in my salon this year). Originally B is like 1.8%. Over 400 hrs that 1.8% drops to like 1% - types 3/4 start complaining. It's hard to spend 9k on lamps and throw them away when they meter 45 on 5.0. Would it be acceptable than to switch in Lay Down beds every other lamp to something like Magicsun 23/160? (canopy only?)

well, in fact, you can!

you probably only need about 10 lamps with high b to do the job.....buy cheap ones and chuck em in 200 hours when you relamp the entire bed. High B lamps lose b pretty fast so they should be toast.

you can do it on the laydowns YES.....I'm doing that now. BUT. Not on the bottom part, only on the canopy or they will get striping on their backs cuz they are too close to the lamp on the beds. Only do it on beds with high canopy, not beds like Tanses that are flat and come really close to you.

Thanks for not highjacking my thread...
