Default What Lamps would you use in a Sunboard Plus?

Would you use Supra,Hereaus, AUVL or any other lamp to get the best results?

AUVL & Supra are both made by Radium.

Heraeus is the original lamp for that unit.

Mike, the Supras will be the best in the bed. UWE will rape you on price and you will get an inferrior lamp...don't believe them when they tell you that their lamps are special....

I heard from a "source" that UWE thinks I don't like UWE.

Not true. I don't like buying groceries at the 7-11 store either but I still like 7-11.

Only problem I have with UWE is they don't carry enough stock of stuff like sunboard acrylics..so you need to wait a month if they break. That is insane if it happens in busy season...and having an extra $1,300 acrylic that is 7 feet long just lying around waiting is also a bit ridiculous.

to UWE defense, my sunboard acrylic is almost 5 years old , and still in great shape. Wasnt your Sunboard out of balance or something?

No, my customers are dumbasses, and they would get out of the sunboard by stradling it and hoping on their ass towards the front.

One "hop" on the acrylic support and the thing will snap.

I have since raised up the acrylic nearly an inch OFF the support, and have not had a problem...plus trying to teach people how to use bed, but new staffers don't always know how important it is to explain the in's and outs of using the bed.

PS. MOVE THE STOP BUTTON some where else.
