New Technology is made by Lighttech in Hungary. They are a private label for UV Power who is the largest lamp distributor in Europe. They are sold in the US by UV World & a couple subs.

They have a pretty extensive line, many are good.

What models are you looking at?

" 'many' are good."
LOL I like the diplomatic way you put that.

I was considering the 100W 6.5 or 7.4 Independence Extreme or Extreme Plus for my base level 15 min. beds.

The 6.5 will be a decent 15 minute or strong 20.
The 7.5 will be a strong 15 minute.

Non reflector right?

Meter those lamps.....the higher B lamps tend to be quite strong ...the strongest vhr is equal to about a 10% uvb lamp....over 40 on a 7.0 meter

Call me crazy, but that's crazy. Wonder how long they stay that high.

I used the second highest B level lamps and had a 38. Same number the Phillips swift 808's give me. They stayed up, Well, not THAT high for long....but that was something like 6.8 min tan time...and I got 400+ hours on them moving them from 10 mins max up to 12 mins when they 'cooled' off.

Thinking about putting the extrem 100w in my Tan America 20 min. bed. Are all of these lamps non-reflector? I think I need reflector lamps? Also what about lamps that are Bi-pin and putting the caps on to make them RDC?

They offer F73 RDC lamps in both reflector & non.

You need to be careful with what lamps you use in TA beds. Talk to John Aycock at UV World, he will know which ones to use.
