| I had a customer ask how much sun is equivalent to each minute in a tanning booth? I dont know the answer.. My booth is 15 minute to TE with 4.5 UVB. I know I did some readings a few days ago and at 2pm on a clear day, the sun was giving off 6.5%UVB. Can anyone answer this question with info given? Or as a general rule maybe.....?Thanks |

Just give them a reference that a tan indoors is similar to the results you'll get out of 2-3 hours in mexico. Just to shut them up. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. Posts: 696 | I agree there is no definitive answer as the sun and weather and time of day and year all come into play but would say, one minute be the same as 5 minutes in the sun on say, the longest day? 10? 20? Nah, not 20. But if 1 minute equaled around 5 and then 15 in a booth equaled around 75minutes outdoors, than that would make a certain amount of sense. Just looking for some generality. I think 2-3 hrs in mexico may be stretching it, but maybe not... |

Or they will sit there and do the math as to how long etc.... __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity.
