I was placing the meter in the middle of the bed for accuracy. On my stand ups i did place it in the middle as well, not sure if that is correct or not though. I did get a 19.7 on my new lamps.

The 19.7 sounds about right. Not horrible anyway. So someday when they fall to 0.70 x 19.7 = 13.8 change them. Or sooner if you want.

Two things I've always taken for granted just got shattered today:

1. That everyone knows a meter reading goes down not up as lamps age.

2. That everyone knows how to multiply a percent of something.

My 32/100W beds meter 33-35 with lamps under 100hours.

When i metered them after 600hours on the lamps i get readings of 22-24.
