URI is a quality company because of people like John. There are tons of companies that will sell you lamps. But very few others who I would take "advice" on, who I can tell my mix, my "strategy", describe the type of customers I get -- and get the right recommendation for MY salon. Save yourself time. Call John. He'll quote you a fair price and you'll get the right lamps. __________________ Ann Wiggins Noe Highline Capital 877-422-4100 x 250 anoe@highlinecapital.com www.highlinecapital.com | |

We have stuck with the Rave lamps from Heartland because the customers like them and so do the employees. No sense in fixing something that's not broke is the way I look at it. The 100w lamps are on sale today at heartland also for I think $10.50. |

That is one of the things I have talked to John about when I order (for my salon and helping others) and he "gets it". 3 different salons can have the same bed but wanting to establish the performance 3 different ways for their customers depending what other equipment they have, competition, customer preferences, etc A wrong lamp decision is expensive. __________________ Ann Wiggins Noe Highline Capital 877-422-4100 x 250 anoe@highlinecapital.com www.highlinecapital.com |

| Hall of Famer Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Ca Posts: 2,894 | There was some potential bad advice up there. 1. the 600 turbo can be 12 or 15 mins. Most all vhr lamps will work ok in it at 15. But for 12 mins..you need to be smart. I use the Supra VHOR lamps for a kick ass 12 min tan on that bed. Super high uva with UNDER a 12 min 4 med tan. The Sig HP's are a bit milder in the B but would also be good. CosmoluxVHR or VHR TT are just not all that. I would never purchase those lamps ever. For HP lamps...I am sure most people now know that the Radium lamps sold in the USA as "Supra" are the strongest and longest lasting lamps. Personally, I don't care if it is just a facial lamp how strong it is...all facials are pretty strong if they are not 400 watt clip ins. But for HP BEDS...go with the strongest lamps. The glass has solarized on any used bed and dropped down in uvb transparency...the extra B on the Supra's will bring it back up like new and the Supras just never burn out in under 1000 hours from all my experience. |

I don't - too many MGD's which Drew still hates because he drank a solarized one once. Damn clear bottles. Seems to be OK for Corona beach ads however... I love those ads. __________________ ![]() ......................Flashback 2001........................ "One of the 'ORIGINAL' TanToday Gang" |

| Express Tan Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: MN Posts: 952 | Sorry, I falied to mention that the 600 I decided to keep is a 15 min bed. The Ovations, Bravos and Matrix are also 15, although the current owner has been running the Matrix as a 12 min bed. Claims that TA et it up that way even though the stickers on it say 15 min and the timer counts down from 15 to 3! It also hasn't been lamped in close to 2 years. Only has 1500 hours on it though. Do you guys think I should run it at 15 min? |

I chose it for the best combination of efficiency and performance. 15 minutes at the lower levels (instead of 20) to move them in and out quickly. 15 minutes at the higher levels (instead of 12) to maximize the bronzing rays and performance. 15 minute Matrix at the top. __________________ Ann Wiggins Noe Highline Capital 877-422-4100 x 250 anoe@highlinecapital.com www.highlinecapital.com |

I think that by relamping it and bumping it up to 15 min along with some marketing will get some customers back in it. I am very excited! I hope to close the deal on the 31st. |

Supra for HP are good HP lamps Heraeus HP lamps are also good. If you have a standup and want a good kick as well as great browning...alternate Solglass with a high B lamps and you're laughing. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity.
