Is there anyone familiar with these new "high tech" lamps, and what do you think about them? I've heard that they are very hot and can be used only a few minutes at a time. A friend of mine wants to know if they would be good for her 16 lamp home unit. Thanks

No clue since we dont know what the bed is at home. She should buy the lamps that the manufacturer recommends.
