| I just recently changed the lamps in my two upgrade beds. One is the Starpower 548 and the other is the sundome. We lamped the Starpower with the Light Source Signature HP lamp and the Sundome with the Light Sorce Signature Series Plus. I dont feel like my customers are impressed with them. I try to explain that they are getting a deeper tan without the burn but they just want to see instant color. Is it better to have a lower B lamp or do you put something really strong in your upgrade beds? My lamps have under 100 hours and i would like to change then to something stronger but i dont want to throw all that money away. Would it be bad if i changed every other lamps to something with more of a kick? |

That should give you the browning of the HP but a little kick to satisfy the clients, also you wont have to trash lamps that have less than 100 hours you can save them for the next lamp change. You could probably do the same with the other bed but go with the 23/160's. __________________ |

I don't think there will be any concernc with the stand up and stripes either since you are not laying on top of the lamps. __________________ |

I guess my husband did something wrong when he first checked the voltage because they were reading 270 so he lowered them. I really hope we didnt lose any customers over it ![]() |

Anyway all the beds are reading 228v now, and they are reading about 5 to 7 points higher on a 5.0 meter. I guess this seems pretty close to what they should be? Meter readings 160w Sig HP- 45.9 160w Sig Plus- 39.5 100w Beach Sun-24.5 |

Put the Sig HP's in a Sungate & it can meter 90, but in an S Class it can meter 75, put in a ETS bed around 50 is good at 228V. I would like to see the voltage up more around 235 on these units. I have plenty of customers who do it. You'll get much more kick out the Sig Plus if they are run at 235 also, especially in a stand up. The Sig Plus should be spanking people in there. __________________ |

I dont think bumping the voltage up to 235v is going to get me up to 50. Im gonna bump it up but could there be anything else that would be causing me to get such a low reading???? |
