My problem is for this 15 minute application I want something with some punch (probably a 7.5) isn't that what a 15 min max should have? I currently have AUVL's 6.0's in there and they kinda suck. They have just under 500 hours on them and they are super weak. I read about LSI Beach suns which I think have 6.5 and something called Nevada Sun with a 7.5 also John talked about Aurora Gold's by LSI also, not too familiar with them. Ideas?? __________________ Jeff |

The Nevada Sun (formally known as Desert Sun) is quite a bit stronger. It will be more of a 12 min to very strong 15 min session. This lamp has quite a bit of UVB, great for more experienced tanners but may be a bit much for beginners. If you have a 32 lamp bed you could do the Beach Sun Reflector in the top & Beach Sun standard in the bench. That would be plenty at 15 minutes. __________________ |

They should have sold you X7's for a 15min application. Johns recomendation makes a lot of sense and will certainly be better then what you are using now. In fact, the 26 lamp Genesis with 8.5 non reflectors in the bench and the 6.5 reflectors in the canopy will give you a 10 min session new too and drop down to 12 or 13 for a good couple hundred hours. |
