Default Supra for Leo yet?

Anyone have the inside scoop if the Supra lamps for the Leonardo are ready yet?

The hurtin' factory ones are already shot after 125 hours. Well that and the bed doesn't cool the lamps properly.

I cannot really speak for Supra but our lamps come from the same factory so I assume we are in the same boat. The last I heard Radium was not going to "copy" the Logicam socket.

I know someone who modified the sockets in the Saturn so that "regular" bases fit. I also know someone who was looking into changing the Sockets to standard ones. I do not know if that worked.

Last I heard Supra was working on one with the correct socket. It just isn't out yet. I was hoping it was and I had just not heard about it yet from official channels.

I'd change the lamp holders out too....spend a couple of hours and then you can use whatever you want again.

Is that like the retro fit kit we're waiting on that's supposed to come out....

You can trim the keys out of the sockets with a diamond wheel. Can do this with all keyed sockets.

You mean so any lamps would just fit on the prongs?

I have sold many Saturn customers the Supra 800pigy lamps and they have used a dremel hand held grinder and made the little notch in the lamps. They all were scared to try it but they all said it was pretty quick and easy. (girls, don't try this with your emory boards)

NOW..that said...the Supra Line will have the real lamp socket by November.
So, if you need lamps now..you can dremel them....or not a long wait for the good lamps.
