Your compressor should come with a regulator.

but it doesn't have that nifty laser on it....I don't know how close I need to be with it!!.

If it wasn't for having to fullfill a lease trade, I would have never got an expensive spray unit.

That is a great idea. Can you do it with any Magic Tan? We are going to look at a used one this weekend and we cant decide if we want airbrush or a booth. This way we could do both!

Are you making them stand in the Magic booth when you spray them to eliminate overspray?

Instead of a laser... to earn how far to be away from client..

I have used this technique with dozens of trainees. very simple.

simply make a fist.. extend thumb from fist.. then extend pinkie from fist.. Like you are making a "LongHorn" type gesture.

Now place your thumbagainst spray nozzle... and your pinkie against client. That will get you real close to the sweet spot on most turbine based systems.

You may need to be a bit closer for airbrush. and move back slightly if your hand is small. Should be about 8 inches away from client for turbine.

I've been saying Home Depot for a few years now. Not sure why people go and buy the most expensive air brush system out there when the one from Home Depot will do.

This kit is available at HomeDepot for $86.00 USD.

HDS580 requires 5.1 SCFM @ 40psi. HDS590 requires 5.1 @ 40psi. Both guns have a nozzle size of 0.055 inches (1.4mm) and have a Max Inlet Air Pressure of 80 psi.

Lol..yep and I don't tell many people this (especially on tanning forums cause I might get eaten alive ..lOl) but I bought a compressor at Nother Tool (kinda Home Depot store but better) , on sale for ..get this 80.00 bucks!!!!! LOVE IT and sprays brilliant w/ no overspray . I set it at 15-20 psi and go! Over all I spent 160.00 on the equiptment ( plus the Pasacche gun I previously had) .. not bad, hu? You just have to shop around and not get suckered into the Tanning Store scheme..lol
