| I'm looking for a solution that i can use in a Magic Tan booth...(which should be pretty much any solution) Will be operating 1 Level of spraying...regardless that it has 3 levels. So i'm looking for a good solution that will give color to even fair skinned clients without bad smell, stickyness or causing orange. One's i've read on here that are popular are Cal Tan Premium Dark Bronzer (not the clear one) Mystic Premium Norvel Breeze There are positives about all of them, as well as negatives. Anyone find one that they are satisfied all around? Money is not a factor here...as i want the best results and will charge whatever is needed to cover these costs...so doesn't have to be the cheapest one...i'm looking for the BEST!!! Any other remarks on the ones listed above or others would be greatly appreciated. How about Magic Tan's solution....what are your remarks on that? Not familiar with them. What does the VersaSpa use? Can that solution be used in a Magic Tan MT-2000? Does it come in the drums? Not familiar with how they contain the solution, canisters, drums etc........new to the spray booths. Thanks

We spray alot of Turbo 5, but some of the girls who have dark hair and a good tan look great with turbo 9. You might want to allow for three levels if there are three tanks. It is nice allowing customers to choose (with our advice), good luck. |

Spraying more solution on the higher levels. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. | Super Star | I really like my Mystic solution. The old owners did not use it and I got complaints about the Mystic. Now I use the premium bronzer and my tanners love it. __________________ "Well-behaved women seldom make history." --Laurel Thatcher Ulrich |

| Hall of Famer | Din, in the limited time I had the spray gun, everyone has been pleased with the norvell solution. that's the only advice i can give. Great smell, you can even make your own scent! order scentless and add drops of a fragrence |

It comes in a gallon "jug" (I don't know if that's the same as a drum or not). Everyone seems very pleased with the color and aroma. Never a complaint with either. We do operate it with three levels of bronzing, but rarely use level 1 (the lightest). Since it's made by Magic it may very well work in the MT-2000. I'd give them a call to see. |

We went to reorder it and they are on back order until February so we were told that the Hemp solution by Supre is similar and less sticky. We just got it in so im praying it works as good as the Cal Tan. |

Anyone else try a variety and pick one and stuck with it for one reason or another? __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. | Rookie | I have 4 Mystics in the Seattle area and have tried all the solutions out there over the past 6 years. I currently use a solution that is created by Bocchi labs in So Cal. My customers love the smell and lasting effects...the color is natural and not over powering like the Cal Tan solution. 95% of the customers use lvl 2 for the Mystic... This solution is not sticky like most of the others...it has panthenol and erythrulose in it and the feel is great on the skin. My spray business has almost doubled since we switched over in March of 2007! So from an owners stand point this stuff has really helped us out. I can get in touch with my distributor if you need more info. Last edited by distinctivetan : 7th January 2008 at 02:00 PM. Reason: adding more information |

Is this a Private Label product from a Lab? Never heard of them...I haven't ruled out Private labelling solution from chemists. Just that i would like to hear from people that have tried it before i order from a chemist. Like you have done. Thanks for the info. Im currently using norvell amber sun with fairly good results. I have some that don’t care for the smell of Norvell. Last edited by Councilman : 8th January 2008 at 02:26 PM. |

But a company that makes shampoos, soaps, etc...and you just went to them and got a DHA solution from them? In other words....they aren't a tanning lotion company.... Just curious. I have a chemist/lab i've spoken with here as well that makes DHA self tanners. But don't want to buy large batches. Thanks for the info. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. Thanks for the help. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. | All Star Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Michigan Posts: 150 | While all true I still find that I and my clients may not like the same solutions that another salon may like. Without naming names there is a very well known name out there, very popular but we did not like the solution at all! Speaking with others informs you what's out there but doesn't necessarily mean what works for one will work for all. The solution we use is made up in a lab that makes other products (no tanning lotions) and again while we like it the salon down the street may not. Its all about trial and error. |
