Default Sunless and age spots

I have clients with age spots on their face. These age spots get very dark with sunless tanning. Has anyone had this? Is there anything you can put on the spots to stop the darkness? It looks pretty bad.

Not really. The only thing you can offer are products which remove the spots like Arbonne RE9. If you spray them they are just going to get darker and it would be impossible to cover them with a barrier cream prior to spraying.

This person used it on their left arm for six months. She is a tanner.

Which Arbonne Re9 product? They have been using something to lighted the spot. You can barely see the spot until she srays, then it is very dark.

The Arbonne product used is the NutriMinC RE9 body serum and lotion.

I disagree with Kathe from Arbonne. You CAN apply Vaseline to the spots with a Qtip which will prevent the darkening from occurring.

Additionally, per the picture of the woman with age spots. Where is the BEFORE shot of the left arm taken from the exact same angle? That photo is completely misleading.

Further, this section of the website is NOT for vendors to promote their products.

1. If you have a lot of spots that is quite hard to cover them all.

2. Vaseline is a petroleum by-product, one which I would never recommend a client put on their skin.

3. The woman in the picture is a friend of mine and my husband took her picture. Believe it or not, your choice. No one is forcing you to believe it.

4. I am a sponsor for this site, a salon owner for 15 years, and a moderator of this site. I can post in any forum and thread I want.

5. This is your first post on this forum. Wonder who you are to come to this community and make something like this your first post?????

You may want to change the name of that file, Kathe-E. Anyone who googles C.K. on the internet from now on, will be directed to a photo of CK's age spots. Not sure I would be happy about that, if I were her.

Most products that fade age spots advise people not to get UV without using UV protection. Is this product any different?

I have personally used this product for about six years and tan 2 - 3 times weekly with no issues whatsoever. And if you've read my postings you know how I feel about SPF's.

If you will use a lip balm with an SPF on the spots then spray tan it will darken the skin around the spot..this will help hide the age spot...
