All About Me has a 12.5% dark solution that has worked well for us. If you mean body building competition, most solutions do require you to layers. You want solution to dry quickly, less apt for any stickiness.

Okay, so we also do the airbrush spray tanning and I have always thought that it would be an excellent idea to do the sprays for the body building shows in the area. Problem is, is that when I speak to the gyms to ask about information on the shows, they play dumb and say they never get that kind of information. Since when? I used to work at a gym and was always getting the entry forms and such on up coming shows. Can anyone point me in the right direction here as the gym employees don't seem to want to help.

well for bodybuilding..they use a special paint, right before the show. but if you are looking for area bodybuilding shows..there is bodybuilding federations online that will give you the show schedules.
