Maximist by tampa bay tan. Can someone tell me if this is a good system to start off with for a beginer. I was also looking at the paasche D300 Salon airbrush kit. Not sure which is the best way to go starting out. What company makes the best solution? I would hate to make someone orange. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.....

I think you have chosen two good priced machines. I'm only familiar with the D200 but Paasche makes good equipment. Maximist is a great machine. I do lean toward it for mobile use. I don't care for either companies solutions and I would strongly suggest you call around, check these threads and get some samples. What I love you may hate.Orange will be caused by too much not so much by the actual solution.

Click on my Sunfactory banner below and go to spray booths. (or click here for the direct link) Scroll down to the bottom and look at the Apollo and the Whisper mist. These are the same exact unit that Cal Tan sells for $2500. The Apollo is the unit without the box or you can get the Whisper mist that has the box to make it quieter.
Call me to place an order on one.
