Mixing Norvell Solutions
I use Norvell Regular and Dark airbrush solution. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the ratio to mixing the clear and dark solution to get the regular?
I am running low on the regular solution and have several airbrushes this week and it would be nice to know how to mix the colors to produce another color.
Hope that makes sense and thanks for the help!

Re: Mixing Norvell Solutions
I'm not sure that will work. Why don't you just call your distributor or Norvell ASAP and get some solution overnighted??

Re: Mixing Norvell Solutions
My most used color is 1/2 regular and 1/2 dark or cocoa. I note their account and establish their preference for the next time. I sometimes use 1/4 regular and 3/4 dark, or vice versa.

Re: Mixing Norvell Solutions
Aimee, do they still make Cocoa? I just got some samples of Triple Dark for a fitness model and the brochure doesn't have anything about Cocoa anymore. I have been solely using Dark (9.5) basically on everyone with good results.
Which ones does everyone stock from Norvell? Have you tried any of the other drops for cosmetic color and DHA drops to further customize for your clients?

Re: Mixing Norvell Solutions
Jeff,
I didn't think they did sell it either but it was available through ITBG, so I ordered and it shipped through PCMarketing. I think it's same DHA as dark, but a little loss bronze and more brown.
I use the wonder drops, well I used to. They are cosmetic only and pretty expensive. People didn't understand the reasoning behind them since they just wash off after your shower. I mostly used them on very fair clients that wanted to look like JLo but I knew better.

Re: Mixing Norvell Solutions
I would think it just aids in the tech seeing the product going on for better coverage also.
So basically I should just stick to what's working thus far with the Dark. I tried the original and it didn's seem to get enough color.

Re: Mixing Norvell Solutions
I also use Dark the most. I keep Original on hand for Snow While. If I'm a little hesitant to use Dark on someone, I mix 2 parts Dark, and 1 part Clear. Of course, I have a few that want the Double Dark no matter what I say. I haven't tried the Triple Dark- anyone try it yet?

Re: Mixing Norvell Solutions
I was thinking of getting some clear for that very reason, but everyone that has been sprayed with the dark was really pleased, I guess they just pulled back a bit further from them while spraying.
Just got the triple in, going to spray one of our fitness models next week for a competition.
Does anyone have the Norvell training vid they can send me, I'd like to see what that entails.

Re: Mixing Norvell Solutions
So they ditched cocoa and brought in triple? Is that darker than double dark? I use all but the clear, depending on the client.

Re: Mixing Norvell Solutions
Four Seasons told me that the cocoa is still available and it's between the regular and dark.
