Timer not communicating...

Been running Helios 11.2 with T-Max Manager Pro on COM1 for ages.

Updated to Helios V 11.4 - get error message "Timer not communicating, etc." Checked System defaults, T-Max selected. Ran the Autodetect feature - Autodetect reported that it found an IPI / Redac timer.

Despite rebooting everything, I can't seem to get it to find the T-Max - it just finds IPI/Redac instead.

Any ideas?

If everything was working before you upgraded to 11.4 then I suspect a problem with Helios. Upgrading Helios will not make the T-Max Manager go bad.

Do you have ADNET2000 loaded on the computer? If so close Helios and see if you can get ADNET 2000 to communicate with it.

ADNET is working fine on the system, controls the romms timers stand-alone.

I'm on the phone with Ken as we write

the AutoDetect is not finding anything connected. in Helios.

Did one of my stores with V11.4 and after my goof was corrected, everything worked fine.

Went to my next store, avoided the earlier goofup and ran into this timer problem. Adnet 2000 works fine with the Manager Pro so I figure it must have something to do with V11.4.

I decided to let it lay until Helios Tech Support is open tomorrow.
