| Guys, I have read the T-Max manual 10 times, users guide, Pro Guide, still reading thread after thread, and still zippo. Transformer dead, new one installed. Beds functional, manually at the beds, and T-Max still showing E-6, and E-7 on all beds. Done the 888 thing, still won't set! Ran through all the security levels, zip. I'm up and running manually thank God, but fat ass "former" employees lazy and gone. Suggestions? Thanks all! ![]() |

My first bed using a timer ( room # 1 has timer, no bed) is # 2, and the bed itself won't let me access with any code. When I tripped the circuit breaker, if doesn't fully "disengage", if you know what I mean. Maybe a faulty circuit breaker switch is my first step. What do you think? |

If they are on the walls, whatkind of timers are they? If they are in the tanning beds, what brand of tanning beds do you have? Kevin Barrett ADI Tech Support |

| All Star Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: California Posts: 223 | Kevin, T-Max series 3A timers on the walls. Royal Sun Tanning Beds, 6 total, 1/2 of them 20 min 30 UVR and the other half 36/3 VHR 12 min beds. I have a total of 9 timers, but only the 6 are on beds. The "1st" one in line is not connected to a bed, but is showing on the Manager Pro system as functioning. #'s 8 and 9 are not hooked up at all. The Manager Pro has solid green lights on all beds. Hope this helps a bit. |

When you did the 888 thing and went room to room to reset the timers...how far along did you get? Did you reset all of them on all the rooms or did it stop after like 2-3 rooms......if it stopped somewhere, that is probably the timer that is screwed up either with the room before it or the room after it in it's connection. Did the 888 reset test work on all the timers? If so and you went back to the manager pro and pressed enter to stop the test after the last room....did the manager then reset and register all 9 timers/rooms? You should not have any more green lights then there are rooms....so you should have 9 green lights and the rest up to 64 should not illuminate at all.....do you have that? __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. | All Star | I'm just going to throw this out there, as this happened to me. After we wired the one of my salons I was having a similar problem. It took my low voltage guy a couple of days (along w/talking w/ADI) - but one of the jacks we installed came from the factory prewired backwards. It was messing everything up, breaking the chain, sending all sorts of error messages back to the TMAX, shutting everthing down. One of the last resorts was to take all the jacks out and look at them - and sure enough, one of them was wired incorrectly (from the factory). Rewired it, and everything was fine. IDK? __________________ www.myspace.com/capturedsun |

When I did the 888 thing, ALL timers did exactly what they were suppose to do. Went to the Max Manager, hit enter, and IT did exactly what it was suppose to do. Still, not able to set from Manager. One thing I noticed is that when it goes through the scan, at one point it says Manager 0, then something else at 237. Can't tell you now, have customers tanning. All was fine before the transformer changeover. |

If you look in your book, there should be a security code for manager/owner. you punch in the number, then press enter a few times then press clear. once you see 3 * like this*** then you should be able to set it manualy from your manager. I left message for support, but no call back so I read previous posts, and a bit of trial and error. I have one more sequence to finish, and if all goes well, I will give detailed report. Very strange issues, so hopefully it works, and someone else can benefit. |

If the manager is showing green lights for all the timers, then the system is communicating. You need to enter the password to unlock a level in order to enter time manually from the manager. This resets to lock when the manager is unplugged or time is set from a connected computer. The timers do not care if a bed is connected to it or not so the type of beds are not an issue. The master password is a 5 digit number and can reset the 3 level security codes. DO not give this number out online. |

| All Star Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: California Posts: 223 | Brian, thanks for the info. Don't worry, I wasn't planning on giving my CC#, exp date, and pin # either. When my transformer blew, it must have shocked the crapola out of the T-max, and the timers, and the beds. I literally had to reset, reconfigure, and start from square one on the beds, and the T-max system. Then, after finally doing this all night, I go home, take a shower, and driving back to the salon, a PGE transformer on a pole two blocks from the office blows apart right in front of me. Guess what, the power went out briefly, but all systems still a go. Thanks again for everyone's help. |
