Default Daisy Chain Coupler.

I am sure I have asked this question before, but does anyone know where or if I can get a daisy chain coupler to connect two of the smaller 4 pin RJ 22 (I think) ends for my timer network? It has to be the small kind and I can't find them anywhere.

Best Buy, Future Shop, Radio Shack, The Source (Circuit City) or any computer store........RJ22 is for ethernet connections therefore under the computer section.

Nah. They all have the RJ 11 ones. RJ 22 is regular phone cord ones. I did post this before. I guess I have to get one from a disty that sells T-max timers.

Ethernet is like CAT 5 or something.

If you just want to continue the daisy chain with a coupler, why don't you cut the RJ22 ends off and put RJ11 ends on making sure you reverse the wires and use an RJ11 coupler which can be bought anywhere. I've done this and it works fine as I've never been able to find RJ22 couplers anywhere.

Just cut the wires and wire nut them or solder or butt connect.

RJ-22 is handset connector (4 pin small)
RJ-11/14 is line connector (4 or 6 pin)
RJ-45 is Ethernet (8 pin)

Like Mac said, you could use RJ-11 couplers. Note the color order. All T-Max connections are set up with tab down black on left. If you uss the RJ-11 then cut off the connectors and crimp one with the black on the left and the other one with the black on the right otherwise it will not communicate.

We have a RJ22-coupler you can use. You can get them from any one of our distributors.

Even with using an RJ22 coupler, you're still going to have to cut one end off and reverse the wires correct?

Not if you are using our cables. Our cables are crimpted straight through. Our couplers are also straight through as well. So you would not need to do that.

If you are using a telephone company cable then yes.
