Default T max 3a timer resetting itself

Replaced a 3 a timer last night with one that I had laying around. There wasn't anything wrong with the old one except that the face plate was starting to crack. I change the time chip but left the communications chip in the new one. The old timer was a flush mount button and the new one is a raised button type

Set the timer for the room and it all checked out OK. I didn't check to see if the timer was setting to 0 from - - when the time was up. Employee called me today and said that that bed will reset to 0 once the time is up on the bed. All works OK except for the timer resets to 0 to make it look like the bed has been cleaned. I told the girl to turn the manager pro on and off and see if that fixed the problem but It didn't.

Kevin, any ideas?
Thanks

there is a setting that you have to set it to in order to make it show as dirty with - -. 2 of my beds did the same when first installed. Gotta program it to show dirty otherwise will go back to 0 automatically. You have the manual with you? I can't remember how, but it's an easy fix from what i remember.

The problem nowadays is stupidity. Why don't we just take
the safety labels off everything and see what happens?

Set parameter 9 to 1 and this will make it show red on the manager....
If you set parameter 17 to 1, all you have to do is press the up arrow once and it will go to clean ( green )..
