Default TMax 3A timer...can it go up to 60min?

Is it possible to send a 60 minute time to the timer? What is the max? Can it be altered to go to 60min?

I'm running Helios 11.4 and Tmax manager pro.

I think you need a chip in the timer that is 60 min, if they make such a thing.

I'm gonna take out half my lamps in my low beds to save on lamp changes and run the beds for 75 minutes........

I'm using the timer for another service and wanted to time the session since the timer is in there doing nothing right now....

asked and answered.

I purchased a 60 min chip from ADI to use with my Formostar.

The 3A has a rating of 5A / 120v so you could run the system directly through the timer, thus making sure that services are actually run through the computer.

I would actually like a 75 min chip for this application, all for a 'just in case' scenerio.

Are you saying that the tmax authorizes the formostar for the time of 60min session..? or you just press start and time it for your own personal timing and records....that the formostar is not actually controlled by the timer.

If an employee goes to set the formostar and pocket the money, will this tmax setup prevent that or is the tmax timer just for record keeping on your computer.

Is there somewhere on the Formostar to hook up a timer?

cut and splice the power for the Formo unit to go THROUGH the T-Max timer.

Formo will ONLY go on, if it has time sent to it, just like any tanning bed

You're telling me to hack apart a new formostar?

Is that covered under warranty if it doesn't work out for me?

no hacking required!

the power cable is the same as every new computer gets. available for a few bucks almost anyhere.

one reg extension cord, and one computer cord required for the project.

take a look see and you'll know what I'm talking about

your winking is scaring me....like i'm gonna wake up on the floor with spiked hair...funny thing is that i have a shaved head.

Can you explain the details of what wires i'm splicing and running to the timer....

I am not getting it for some reason....i think i'm dumb or something.

1. Computer plug would be cut open and the wires would be tapped into and run with wiring to the tmax 3a timer? But the computer plug still continues to plug into the extention which then plugs into the wall? Cuz the unit still needs power to run...the tmax wont give the unit power.....

Or do i have it ass backwards? I am Greek you know.....

PM or email me if you'd rather.....thanks bud.

basically, yes to #1

pm me with an e-mail and I'll send you a simple sketch

remember, this is 120v and needs to be protected to the t-max enclosure.

BX, romex, or wires in conduit, etc.....

Just called a disty and they have a 99minute chip for the 3A timers.....i ordered them in. $35 CDN each....They are 4 seasons sub distributors in Canada. Call 4 seasons, they should have it.

Your 75min chip dream has come true and then some.

Thanks for the diagram.

we used the 60 minute chip for our hot tubbing by the hour.
10 years ago in the 1-a worked great.
i do like the idea of a 120 minute timer for people who purchase 2 hours in the spa.
keep that in mind for future uses.

Din, did you wire your formostar up this way? I like the idea of no one being able to just turn the machine on.

I spoke with my ditsy, my unit is coming from Patryk "sun italia" and apparently he actually puts a timer lead onto his units.
