Unhappy Manager Error

Ok, so I get in yesterday and I see 1,2,3,4 all the way through 8 indicated on the manager. It's also reading beds 54-67 and won't scroll to bed 1-8 when I press the orange button.

My salon is set up with 7 3As, 1-6 and room 8, so 7 beds total (I just skipped rm 7 for future expansion).

I've removed power (AC adapter) from the manager and waited, plugged back in and nothing changed. I also reset the circut breaker to the 3As in the rooms, still nothing. When I bring up the ADNET2k program and do a rescan it just scrolls through saying "timeout 1000".

I'm running Helios and of course, it's not saying timers not responding.

Anyone have this problem? Keep in mind that I haven't opened yet, trying to learn how to work out some of the kinds before I do.

Auto Address them. OR Could be a bad cable.

The problem nowadays is stupidity. Why don't we just take
the safety labels off everything and see what happens?

Sounds like your Manager is not booting up. Doesn't matter what cables or 3A's you have. You might be able to reload the software through your computer. But you'll probably have to send it in.

Or wait. If that's a new Manager, you might just have to press the "secret" button combination and it'll go to programing mode and boot up.

So after sending me to Radio Shack to get a new plug I ended up having to send it back.

And if there's a secret button, I wanna know. Sounds exciting!

Thanks for the help!
