Default Skip a Room

Ok, I'm learning a ton...
I had to re-address my rooms and I have an empty #7. I got them all addressed but I I didn't know how to skip display 7. The (online) manual says: "If you want to skip a room, press the SET button under display 3 on your T-Max® Manager, and count up the number of rooms you want to skip." My question is, do I need to be in "security 2" mode? I.e. press set under 1 and 8 and then scroll to 22 under display 6 and 7. Or is that another mode that I should be in to make this work? I can't imagine, but will try tomorrow, that you just press the set button under 3 and it'll just know what I'm trying to do.

Is it just me or does the manual see to skip some steps? Or could it be that the one online is outdated? I'm not at my store so I'm trying to brainstorm tonight and have some idea of what I'm doing tomorrow morning.

Thanks!

Just wanted to say that I got it all worked out. Robbie at ADI is awesome. Even called back an hour later to make sure I was running smoothly. Thanks!

The manual is horrible, they must like to be on the phone. THe manual doesn't even address most common problems and how to fix them. Tech support is really good though, although I'd like to have better info at my fingertips.

I'd actually benefit a bit by having rooms skipped on the manager, but its only one room that doesn't align with the room numbers so I figured no biggie

Uh, why don't you just manually address the 3A's? I believe that is covered in all the manuals.

You apparently have the pro, not the regular manager if you enter a security code. To make changes the level must be on level 3.

To skip a room during auto address, go back to the manager and press next and it will skip to the next number, then go back to the next eoom in line and continue to hit the start buttons on the timers in the order that you want.

EX. Call/menu 888 enter, press start button on the room timers in rooms 1 through 6, go the the manager and hit next, then go to room 8 and continue to hit the start buttons in the rest of the rooms. Room 7 has been skipped in the address process.

Alll timers can be manually addressed too.

Note, All rooms must be empty during auto address mode for all timers. Individual timers can be addressed anytime. The manager can also be unplugged during sessions and will not interupt sessions. It is just an interface/controller. The timers are built into the individual room timers.
