Default Timer Chip HELP!!

I am trying to change my T-max timer from a 15 minute to a 20 minute. I ordered a new chip, but when I put in the timer chip the screen on the t-max doesn't even light up. What should I do? Works fine with the 15 minute chip, but need my bed to go 18 minutes. (I have another bed like this and it worked just fine)

When you put the old chip back in it works ok? If so, I would say you have a bad chip. Get a new one and go from there.

Is the chip in backwards? There is a dimple on one end. It must match the notch in the chip socket.

3A's do not need to be re-adressed when changing the time chip.

only if you're changing protocol chips. That is, Tmax - Intellitan or visa versa
but yea, sometimes the sticker on the chip is facing the other direction, so ignore the label, only pay attention to the dimple like Brian said.
