Default Changing CCS IV language to I

My new CCS IV will not read the beds because I believe it is on 235 T but I need it to be on 235 I. (on start up you can see it)

How do I go into the CCS IV manager and change over the language so it can see the beds?

Thanks in advance.

Now I am thinking I need the disk or the software from online. Hook the timer to a computer and change it.

Where do I find the software, I have no disk?

I think this is the website that offers support for Intillitan/CCS timers....maybe you can find something here or call them for info.

www.appdig.com

You will find all of the downloadable free software for the managers here.

If you run into problems you could just change the chips in the timers.

It's not so simple. I have to get the CCS adnet 2000 software, which I did from Ergoline support so I can download back into the CCS IV the intellitan language.

Ergoline support was surprised I noticed on boot up of the CCS IV the 232 / T instead of 232 /I . That is how I knew someone changed it.

Here is where it gets interesting.

I did have the T-max adnet 2000 on my computer, which I totally uninstalled (even though that should not matter) and downloaded the intellitan version right from Ergoline support computers. But when I install, I still get the old T-max version even though they are sure I am getting the right one. It is basically one file that makes it different so I can download from my PC to the CCS IV.

The support guys at Ergoline are stumped. They think there may be something blocking me from changing it (so you can't take a Manager pro and turn it into a CCS IV, it's all their software anyway.)

So now I am waiting for T-max to call me back to see why I can't get the software on my computer to even put on to the CCS IV.

Yes, I could just change some chips on my T-3a sip timers and protocol 27 on the intellitan timers, but I have come too far to turn back now.

After talking with ADI, they said my computer was not connecting to the CCS IV so that screen won’t come up. For some reason, my office computer would not see COM port 1 or any other for that matter. So I put the program on another computer, hooked it up and it all worked instantly. Now it boots at 232/I, which is what I needed.

Very strange to have that happen. Wasted all day because I assume my office computer’s ports were fine.

So, simple to change it one way or another, depending on which language you want. I am an expert now on front desk managers.

Yeesshh.

James,

I think the problem with switching it to the other computer is you have to detect the manager and communicate with it to be recognized and found on the computer. It's not just plug and play.

Once you detect it and it installs the drivers for it....you can unplug and replug as many times as you want....so long that it's in the same port....or you have to redetect it again.

that may have been the problem for your computer not being able to see it.

at least you found out the problem.

No, for some reason this office computer doesn't see COM port 1 (the nine pin serial port) so when I connect, it knows something is there, (you get the little "ding" but won't read it or detect the manager for some reason. Very strange.

Your office computer wouldn't happen to be a Dell would it?

No, actually the Dell computers I have are the best ones. Never problems with them and they don't come pre-loaded with tons of crap I don't want.

It is a local company that built this particular computer, never again.

My server for my network for my salons is a Dell I built online. Shipped fast, good price, fast a lightning for my network.
