Default Tmax showing zero in room after putting client in.

Occasionally after we put someone in the tanning room, the 3a shows "0" but the pc shows them in that room. Of course the bed won't come on. We turn them off in the pc and put them back in...it usually works. What do we need to do? Re-address each room?

That happens to mine sometimes! I usually have to cancel the bed and re put them in the room and it works...not sure why or how to fix it though...sorry I always figured it was just a glitch in the system since it does not happen too often.

Software glitch. Timers are fine.

Worse thing is, if a client is'nt tranined to look at the 3a when they go in the room, to see if its set or not...(the delay showing) then they get udressed, apply their lotion...then go hit the start button, only to realize it won't turn on and have to put their clothes back on and come out to tell us. usually gets them a free tan for the inconvenience. I assume its correctable, not a glitch.

Free tan for what? They got their tan. That doesn't deserve a free tan.

I've seen that happen in salontouch/suntouch when the timer values need to be adjusted in the setup section. IF you are using suntouch/salontouch....i'd call them and ask them to step you through configuring your timer values.

Just FYI....its under SETUP - and either ROOMS or STATIONS- Look for TIMER or ADVANCED....depending on what software you r running.

Good Luck

When someone goes in to tan...and goes thru all the motions, getting undressed, lotions on, then has to redress to come out and tell us the bed won't come on...i usually comp them a tan for the inconvenience. a free tan now and then goes a long ways for good customer service. They always appreciate it, and all of a sudden the negative experience is forgotten.
I use Suntouch...
will check what nature boy advise's...hate calling suntouch, $125 per call

if u dont want to call suntouch...go to setup ....stations....click on the top right tab...it will say SOMETHING about timers...... then click on advanced....on the left you will see all the timer settings. click on reset to default values. That should work smoothly for u

Thanks saturnboy
I looked at it today...what a mess and scarey for sure.
I think i know what you mean...as there was a "default values" on the left side, along with quick test and extensive test. So, you say i just click on "default values"
will i have to do anthing with "clear and redraw screen" at the bottom of the page? Or anything with "clear bed activity database" ?
I you give me a few more details? I just don't want to click the "default values" and have the bed set up get all screwed up. its happened to me before. Kind of a catch 22 for me. Pay the $125 to suntouch and go a little less worry free, of gamble, but get the set all screwed up. How confident are you? But, truly, thank you very much already for your help. Very much appreciated.

well if the bed set up gets screwed up, all you have to do is go to set up, timers, at the bottom click view all and make sure the room numbers correspond with the timer number, then hit save. Also make sure that the timer address ( second column after room name) is the same all the way through for all the rooms. I've had the same problem because they weren't addressed right.
