| I am closing my salon. Today I sold 6 beds. I hit the breaker off and turned the bed off with Helios. Reset computer. T-max only showing beds 10-26. The ones I sold were 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10. How can I get it to recognize the unsold beds so I can at least use them until they sell. My beds are set up as a Daisy chain. Please help. |

| Moderator | Do you have tmax 1 or 3a's in the rooms, or was your daisy chain connecting to the beds directly? If they were connected to the beds directly and you broke the chain by unplugging them, the manager won't pick up all beds. __________________ .................................................. ....... |

OR go buy a Cord Coupler adapter to continue the daisy chain in each room you sold a bed for. ![]() by using the adapter....some room numbers in that chain of beds you sold will be changed and moved around. Room 6 will now become room 2...and so on and so forth. If you dont' want that....you need to put a 3A timer in there. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. Daisy chain only requires cable from Manager to first room, then to second, etc.... the beds have the programming in them, so no re-numbering should be required. BTW, the connectors shown are approx $2-3 each if not less. small cost to keep income flowing through the holidays. __________________ ......................Flashback 2001........................ You can also still use the 3-a timers to keep the daisy-chain going, even if they are not hooked up to a bed. You must re-address the beds every time you change the line up. The info you need will be in your t-max manager's manual. __________________ "We are what we repeatedly do. | Moderator | another option if your wires aren't long enough and you can't located a coupler would be to cut the ends of the cables off and splice them together. I believe they are all color coded, so it wouldn't be too hard. __________________ .................................................. ....... |

You just need to connect the empty rooms together and re-scan the manager and it will pick up all of the current numbers you have set on the beds allready. Go into the rooms that you emptied and cut the plugs off and connect the wires together color for color, insulate them and then re- power the manager. It will pick up the remaining beds with the correct room numbers so there is no need to change software settings. The beds that were removed will be ignored. Couplers will not work since they flip the wire pattern. |
