| Ok, setting up beds- doing wireless and all timers are supposed to say 99 while setting up...everything going fine except one bed in the middle of the whole string won't display 99 it displays 0 everytime. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? |

| Moderator | It might be a communication chip problem. MIght need to be replaced. THat is the only thing I can think of. Been a long time since I had my Tmax timers tho but I remember having that as an issue once and getting new chips. Try switching the chip with one you know worked. Maybe that will show us the answer. SOrry I am not more help. ![]() __________________ |

| Moderator | Kevin would call me after hours sometimes. I think I left him a message and he called back. Yes, teh 99 is correct. Just see if it is a bad chip. If it is the case, call and leave a message or email them and theyw ill send one asap. If I had any floating around here, I would send you one. LOL! If you switch chips and that timer STILL shows 0 Then I am clueless. Use that timer in a base bed til you can get in touch with ADI. LOL! NO one will use that room anyway so you wont be losing any money by shutting that room down. ![]() __________________ |

I appreciate just hearing someone out there when I am here, tired, crabby, getting sick, achey, etc. I did call Kevin today and he was taking a lunch break. But, this was before I knew I would have this little snafu. I need to have everything hooked up though for the health department so I can open. Gotta pay rent on the 1st and all the problems really sucks...internet, computers, timers, beds, you name it!...think I am gonna go home tonight and get more than 4 hours! |

If you are auto addressing then when you get to that room just go back to the manager and hit next to skip that room and you can auto address the rest of the place. Set that room manually and if the manager does not pick it up then swap out the comm chip to make sure and order a new one. ![]() |

We have swapped out and the timer is bad. We decided not to skip the room because if we can get a new chip or new timer quickly then we don't have re-address everything again since I am not open yet it is not a "have-to" yet. Although first months rent is due in a couple days and I have had one technological and mechanical (contractor on one bed fried) problem after another. But, I know this is par for the course. I am not encountering anything anyone else hasn't gone through either. |

Press up and start/stop for 5-6 seconds and it will change to .1 (point one). Release the buttons and then hit the start/stop once and the address will flash. Use the up or down arrow to set the address you want, the period needs to be solid or that signifies that the number value is over 100. Once the address is set then perss the start/stop again and then the display will show a .1 again. Then hit the up and down at the same time and the timer will exit the parameter mode. |

We did this last night several times to check the parameters. Now I can't remember if the period was solid or not and when we exited it went to 0. Called to get a comm chip to be on the safe side because everything works ie. J11 connection, we switched receivers, timer counts down for bed, just not seeing the G2 manager. |

I know it's overdue but I think the best way to help others out here is to post not only questions but how it was fixed. As you all had said, it did have a bad comm chip. So, after waiting for a tmax to be fedex'd. We attacked the problem. But, then the G2 manager would send out the number 99 but the tmax would not send a signal back! Yep, I was ready to smoke something! Unluckily for Bob, at ADI, (Kevin was too busy) we had his cell phone number over labor day weekend. He said it has to be the cable. What's the odds of a tmax not only having a bad chip but a bad cable? We ran to Radio Shack because we couldn't wait until after labor day to order another one. Another thing that maybe all of you know but we had to cut the end off and re-crimp because it has to be polarized (or is it not polarized-can't remember now). After all of this, plugged in, works, and I must say this wireless thing rocks! |

I have been blessed that the whole package came together so well because you make so many decisions before you have a tangible item to look at. The moment I realized it was back a couple weeks ago when I called to get set up with bottled water and the guy said "what business?" when I answered he said, "Oh man your place is beautiful and the floor is unbelievable." I asked how he knew or if he had been here at some time. He told me everyone is talking about it and looking in the window. So that was cool. I have a live remote with popular radio station next Saturday and my daughter who is 17 and doesn't have a problem being crazy is going to wear a big stuffed letter "D" by the road! We want to get people thinking about vitamin D deficiancy. I really appreciate the time you take to get answers to those of us who at a particular moment in time find ourselves in a state of panic and anxiety! |
