Default Pistons on 154/3 Heartland Ovations 2004

We need to replace two pistons. The bed is closing to fast. It is always such a big project. Is there anyone that could give me any suggestions or tricks to changing them. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Are they in the legs or on the side of the bed? If on the side of the bed then they are simple. Just pop a clip and pull them off. If in the leg then it should have an access plate on the side of the leg. Get someone to hold the top up as you reach in there to change them. Could also just remove the top of the bed from the stand and then service it that way then re install the top.

The pistons are on the legs. We now hold up the top than replace the pistons. I might try to take off the top but I need a couple of guys here before I can do it.

I was hoping there was something I was missing that would be easier I guess not.

Thanks for your help

No, there is no easier way. Just need an extra person to hold the bed up while you change them.
