| One of my Ergo Excellence 700's causes my earth leakage breaker to trip every once in a while (a few times each month). I have tested the different parts of the wiring (with special attentions to fans and pumps) with an insulation tester (megger) but couldn't find any leakage. Any suggestions on how to find the cause of this? |

Anyway, you are using a GFI as the main breaker for the bed in the panel? If so, check the connections at the breaker, check for moisture around the pumps and A/C, try swapping the breaker with another one. Have you measured the current draw with an amp tester to see if it is over current or not? could be just a bad breaker or the bed could be pulling more then the breaker rating. Bad capacitors will cause the bed to draw more current. We don't use ground fault breakers here on beds unless they are installed in wet locations. |

After that one I have another main breaker of (3x125A). In Belgium every installation (domestic and commercial) starts with a main breaker followed by a main ground fault breaker. For wet locations there's another ground fault breaker of 0,03mA installed after that one... Then there are the breakers for the different circuits. That's why I don't think that this has something to do with current draw. I'll check it anyway... There's no moisture around the pumps. As I have another Excellence in my warehouse , I might swap different parts (fans, ac, pumps,...) to locate the problem... |
