Question WTH is going on?

I have a Tropical Rayz 383VHR, it is a 10 minute bed. Has worked like a champ, customers love it. About a week ago someone would lay in it, it worked fine. Second person would lay in it, about 8-9 minutes into session it would trip breaker. Then next person it would work fine, next person will trip breaker 5 minutes into session.

Any ideas on what is causing this?

I called manufacturer, they are saying I may need a buck booster. Just doesn't make sense to me it has worked fine for over a year with no buck booster, worked like a champ during busy season......just now having problems.

BTW when I called manufacturer it was the receptionist who told me about the buck booster, told me to try that & if that didn't work call back lol.

Check your voltage, it should be around 230-235. Your voltage may be different this time of year due to higher consumption of everyone running their A/C. Lower voltage will mean higher amperage.

Check the amperage as well to see if it is 20% lower than the breaker. Breakers can also weaken over time, especially an overloaded one. Also check that the lugs on the breaker are tight, and check the main connection at the bed.

A bad capacitor(s) will also cause higher amperage.

Had this going on for a year with my HP standup. Replaced all the caps (twice) and finally it's running like a champ. Get a cap tester for like $50 at an electrical supply place.
