What's your favorite LP lamp manufacturer? - TanToday

Overall, your choice of best LP lamp manufacturer. Factors may include price, performance, compatibilities, overall value, etc. Any comments or reasons?
I tried to name all the big ones...left Philips out because they're getting out of the game.

I voted for SLi.

I just ordered them just recently, so I only have about 2-300 hours on them and I cant give you my opinion on lamp life etc., but so far I have been very very happy with the tan they give and the fact that there are no black ends whatsoever.

I am using the SLi A-Max 160w in place of the Sig. Series HP, and the 5% one, in place of the phillips advantage.

Another lamp I wanted to try was Drew's lamp, but noone here has them...

WAIT a minute: Aren't both Cosmedico and Wolff brands made by Sylvania?

And what is SLI? Do you mean LSI? Made in Hungary by Lighttech?

OK... never heard of them. But if made by Sylvania then the "manufacturer" is same as for Cosmedico and Wolff.

Is this poll for manufacturer or for PL re-sellers? If mfgrs you need to consolidate some "brands" made by the same company. If PL re-sellers you need to expand the list about five-fold (or more).

160w Hereaus hands down...I have used everything but SLI in the above list and for longest lasting in power is Hereaus....
100w lamps I really dont care since we don't make $2000 a month with 100w units
