Steve, your computer doesn't "take time" for stuff to go away. ~sigh~

Your computer is a MESS!!!

Do the following to clean it up so it'll run fater. Very easy to do, just follow the onscreen instructions.

Step 1. Download CCcleaner from ---> Download CCleaner 2.22.968 - FileHippo.com

Click on the top right "Download Latest Version"

Once downloaded, follow instructions and install. (Uncheck the box for the stupid toolbar)

Once installed open it up from your desktop and click on "Run cleaner".

When it's finished, on the left side of the window, click on the "Registry" tab.
Click "Scan registry". Then when it's finished, click "Fix selected issues", it will promp if you want to back up, click yes, then continue.

(What this free program is doing is deleting all the BS from your computer, and removing outdated "Paths & file extensions" that cause your computer to look all over the place for crap)

When your finished with the above, restart your puter.

Step 2. Click Start>>All programs>>accessories>>system tools>>disc defragmenter.

Once the box opens click on the "(c: ) drive" then click "defragment".

Let it do it's thing.(What this is doing is taking all your files and putting them in a proper "order" so when the computer looks for something it can find it faster without having to look all over your hard drive for bits and pieces of the file.)

That's it. Your computer is now cleaned and re-arranged.

Try and do this at least once a month to keep things running smooth. (I do it weekly)

Windows XP has a "cleanup" function too. Mostly it just deletes temp internet files (casche) which I do about once a week anyway. It also has a defrag button - which I did maybe a year ago and it took a looooong time.

Anyway everything is working fine for now. Thanks.

There is no need to defrag according to MS.

To clarify, the 5.0 readings posted by Brian from my Gen X are per my Solarmeter. I do not have a 6.0 or 7.0. Brian uses his 6/7 when posting ratios from my Gen X's.

I echo UVMAN's comments as to lamp longetivity (thus far) and tanning results.

How would you explain a 20% difference? I believe Mike from MI was one of the other people who had just checked his 5.0 with you.

AND why the %&*$ would you be banned?

Here is one of the other readings as well as UVMan in this thread:

All of the numbers that I post are real. All of the numbers posed on this site and others are done strictly with my meters and all of the pictures posted are of my meters and the photos have not been doctored, the meters have not been re calibrated, and the y are checked against other meters to ensure acuracy.

I am not here to mislead anyone. What I say is the truth to the best of my knowledge and abilities.

You have been postings readings that are over 20% higher than anyone else has posted about the lamps. It is a valid question to ask "why the difference?"
