Question Interlectric Lamps

For those of you who have used the Super Sun, Absolute Sun & Sun Celeste lamps from Interlectric, what was your opinion? How did they compare to other lamps? I currently use Cosmedico 9K90s and other cosmedico lamps. Am I better off sticking with those or going with the Interlectric ones? How long do they usually last (I usually change mine b/w 60-70% output).

It has been a few years since I've used Interlectric lamps, and I was never impressed with them. But, maybe they've improved since then.

The Sun Celeste HP9 is our Interlectric lamp compatible to the 9k90. This lamp operates more like a high-pressure lamp than the 9k90. It is a little lower in UVB. The first time someone uses the HP9 they will see results, and the HP9 produces a darker, longer lasting tan. Our HP9 in the 100-watt lamp is rated at 1200 hours and most customers change them out between 1000-1100. The 160-watt version of this lamp is rated at 1000 hours and most customers change them out 800-900 hours. I think if you are using the 9k90 you will be very happy with the HP9 results. There have been many 9k90 customers that have made the switch to the HP9 and were thankful they did.
We understand that when you're running a successful business, the thought of changing things up can be scary - but we also know that we can provide you not only with outstanding service and great pricing - but a high-quality lamp as well.

I just put in the Sun Celeste HP9's in my two 15 minute beds(level 2) last Sunday & so far I love them!! Took me a year to finally make that move. I'm leaning toward their 160w HP9's for my stand ups & my starpower next spring. I've never had any problems with their lamps or their customer service. Heidi is my rep & she's awesome!!

I have been doing business with Interlectric for several years now. I have never had any problems like you are describing. The times I have ordered from them they have been very helpful. Do their lamps last as long as some. That depends on what you are buying.

They charge tax?? Well the last time I checked we do have to pay our Uncle Sam. Just provide them with your Tax ID # and you should be fine.

Tax id # has nothing to do with it. Since they delivered the lamps they need to charge sales tax. If they ship the lamps out of state they do not have to charge sales tax but you would be responsible for paying it. Either way you have to pay sales tax on lamps.

lamp are a taxable item. At least in my state. Only tax free if you are retailing them to customers. So, you can claim you're selling to home users. We do have a few home-tanning bed owners who have us get lamps for them.

We used interelectric lamps a couple years ago...they worked & tanned well but there were alot of duds and the life span was probably about 100 hours less then we would prefer.

How long do you all keep your cosmedico 9k90's in? Rated at 1000 but I see a drop metering at 500 hrs.

All depends on the unit and your tolerance for lost output. 500-600 hours is probably average.
