Question Tmax Manger G2 not picking up beds....

Hey folks,

I left the salon last night and everything was working fine on my Tmax network. We had a nice little thunderstorm over night and I came in this morning and my Tmax Manager G2 was not picking up any of our tanning units. It is just showing dashes across all 10 displays. We are wired up with modular cables, not wireless.

I have recycled the power to the tanning units and I have also recycled power to the Tmax Manager and it still will not pick up any of our units. Is it safe to say that the communications chip has gone bad in the Tmax Manager? If so, is it the same chip that you use in the timers in the rooms? Easy to replace? Any input would be great. We are running the units manually right now until I get this resolved.

The storm also knocked out our phone system and credit card machine! Whoooo hoooo! Hell of a Saturday!

Thanks folks!

YES

NO, this is the second chip on timer, smaller than time chip.

Easy to replace?
YES, located near the time chip on back of 3A

A Few suggestions for the future.

Get a System Surge protector for the main electric panel in the store.

Install opto-isolator in the t-max line by the Manager.

Install Surge protection for all sensitive electronics, phones, credit cards, computers, printers, etc ...........
