Hey there, I was wondering if there was any way to stop the T-MAX countdown delay before the equipment turns on. There have been instances in the salon where we thought a client was in their room, when really, they were using the restroom. They ended up using a few minutes of their tan time. Is there any way of going back after pushing the start button? Thanks

Stop, no. But you can make it longer (for everyone). Are you using software with the T-Max. If so you can, from what I have seen, set the delay in the software. Usually easier than going in and programing the T-Max.
We have ours set to 8 minutes, PLENTY of time. 99% are in under 4 minutes. But the few that need extra time appreciate it. In fact I have new clients just because they heard of the longer delay times. Oddly those people are in under the typical 4 minutes too!

If you are using Helios you can. All you need to do is create an entry for emergency stop. After you create it you just go to services then type ST for a quick link to the stop option. It will ask you which room then you just select the room and it says the time has already been set are you sure you want to stop it and you say yes.

Helios allows a VOID in the first 59 seconds, for just this reason.
SunTouch had a similar void feature if I remember but without the time restraint, IMO a bad feature. What software are you using to control the T-Max? What model do you have? Manager, Plus, or Pro? Software overrides the built-in Manager Functions for Delay Time, Delay Start, and Auto Start. You can have the option of Infinite Delay. The bed will start ONLY when the "Start Button" is pressed in the room. This need to be set in the Manager Parameters, and instructions are in T-Max Manager Manual also. As Eileen stated ,you can make STOP and START codes for those situations when you need to change or reset time after a bed has started. Make these "Misc" codes so they don't show up in client count reports. Also put a 'Flag' on them sow they stand out in the reports also.

^^^No, that will allow the bed to start immediately.
If you want infinite delay you need to set the parameter in the manager to a value of 2 for start mode.

Oh yea, I thought this was the "Database" forum. lol. I was at a customer's today that actually still has one of those.
Set those to zero for infinite delay. You can set the Tmax to zero, but you're right, still have to set start mode to 2. Otherwise the time will start, but the bed still won't until they hit the button. |
