We had a storm the other day and it ended up doing something to our beds. The manager pro stopped picking up the beds. All it says is bed 1 n/a, there are 5 beds in the chain.
We know the manager pro works because we tried it at our other salon. It picked up the beds there right away. We tried readdressing the beds, that did not work. We tried replacing the communication chip in bed 1, but the manager still does not pick up any beds. What else can we try? |

What kind of beds are these? Do they have the timers built in or do you have standard 3A's on the wall?

Use a new cord and plug the manager directly into the bed. You may have a bad cable.
Might just need to replace the boards. Are you sure that you installed the new comm chips correctly? They only work one way but will physically fit both ways.

We had basicallly the same thing happen here Saturday. A monster lightning strike hit and shook the whole building, scared my parrot, and messed up my manager pro and 3A's in the beds. Communication was nil on almost all 15 beds. Well, after spending hours trying to figure it out, I called Kevin at ADI and he spent at least 45 minutes getting me up and running again. After getting all the beds reprogrammed, it was determined that I need 3 new communication chips. Thank you Kevin!!! Kevin is awesome, and ADI didn't even ask me for a credit card.

Kevin at ADI is a great help all the time!
It is good to have an T-Max opto isolater in your T-Max system. This can help prevent such situations. Also having an a surge protector put on main electric panel will also prevent this. It also makes sense to have a handful of communication chips stashed away for just such an event. They are pretty inexpensive & if you get hit on a Friday night or Saturday you can get back up & running.
