Default Adding a new bed? Can I splice?

I'm adding a new Suncapsule and don't remember if I need to run from my last bed or if I can splice off of any other jack or cable.

It can be anywhere. The T-Max will run daisychained or backboned. The addresses do not need to be in consecutive order.

So I can add my bed 11 next to #5 and tap off of 5?

I think you are asking is if you can just splice into a connection. In other-words a dead-end one way road off of a two-way street?

I was under the impression that the cabling must go from bed to bed to bed without any off-shoots. Exception being if the manager is in the middle - it has two connections and you can go either direction away from it - basically two networks.

Ok, my beds are cabled in order 1-10. I am adding another bed that will be #11 and am want to know if I can splice into #5. 5 is already conected to #6. Can I go the other way and add #11?

Yes you can. The incoming cable going to #5, will now go to #11. Then out of #11 and back to the "IN" side of #5.

Then just address the T-max's in any order you want.

What he said. I was not sure what you were exactly doing. And brian is right, while the beds have to be daisy chained they can be in any numerical order you wish.

They can be either daisy chained or they can be backboned. They work either way. The addresses do not need to be consecutive. You cannot duplicate any addresses, they all have to be unique.
