New to the industry a customer unplugged the phone line and now the bed will not start with the computer. How do I fix this problem?? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Very vague to t-shoot this, but let's give it a go, shall we?

Plug the 'phone line' back into the bed.

Turn power to the T-Max Manager OFF, and then back on. (Assuming here that's what you're using)

Try computer again.

If this doesn't work, start with some more info.

Type of bed?
Where does this 'phone line' go to, and from where?
Are you using T-Max Manager? If not, what?
What software to control?

Actually not sure what I did lol, I just tried a bunch of things and somehow got it to work. Figured out as well the only Tmax is set up to the mystic blue booth everything else is with Intellitan. Learning as I'm going at least I am pretty good about figuring things out. Sparky another question do you recommend when putting in new bulbs to turn off the bed or what is the safest way? The woman I bought the salon from didn't give much detail on anything so trying to figure it all out. Also I have been reading its recommended to clean the bulbs off once a month or so as well as the acrylic do the beds need to be shut off for that as well?

Thanks for your help

Glad you figured it out, whatever it was.

As far as working on beds, it is ALWAYS best practice to turn power off to the equipment before working on it, cleaning, lamp changes, etc.

some of the Euro beds use a constant hot as a 'return' wire and will be energized even when the equipment is in 'standby mode'

Depending on the install, turn off the bed at a room disconnect, or at the breaker in the electric panel before starting work.
