I have a Sun Shower. I chose it over other, more well known booths for several reasons.

The Sun Shower's 10 high pressure fogging jets apply solution in a triangular pattern in two - 6 second bursts. The solution is applied, effectively, from 6 angles to the body by having your client turn around during the pause between bursts. Your client is fogged with a very fine mist, not "hosed down" with a heavy spray. The solution application is very even without streaking or running.

The DHA solution we use is clear, not a bronzer, without all the inherent negatives that go with a bronzer solution in a spray booth environment. Clients that have tried other spray tanning systems, hand spray and booths, enjoy the Sun Shower experience and prefer the results.

And, of course, the price of the Sun Shower was a consideration in a marketplace that is seeing rapid retail price erosion for spray tanning services.

Before buying any spray booth, I suggest test driving several different booths. Comparisons betweens booths are an "apples and oranges" consideration. And know what solutions are being used in the systems you are test driving. Not all "apples" are using the same "apple juice". And some "apples" may be spraying "orange juice".

IMHO, the decision on what solution to use should be a separate consideration from what system to use. Beware of booth manufacturers with restrictions on what juice you can use in your system. I would suggest avoiding booths with security control schemes that don't allow you to choose what DHA solution you can use in the system.

I use the Sun Shower clear DHA solution but I like knowing I can switch to another solution without a hassle. I think I will continue using a clear DHA solution, but there are a number of manufacturers making quality clear solutions. My business; my choice.
