Formostar Body Wrap

OK…so here is the deal. I’m in the process of acquiring a successful existing salon with older equipment and one of my first priorities is to do a mini salon remodel, including replacing an older Ultrabronze 818 Eclipse with a newer Ergoline 600 bed. Current equipment is the Ultrabronze 818 Eclipse, Dr. Kern 5012, Puretan Aruba, Sunsport 2021, Saturn Stand Up, Mystic Spray System, Classic Legs HL 38 Leg Tanner and a Formostar body wrap. I’m hoping the addition of a 12 minute bed will increase turnaround time and allow more sessions to generate more income. Additionally I think people are in such a hurry that having a fasted bed will be an asset.
Where can I go to find a good replacement bed for a good price? I see some listed on this forum but most are located back east & would cost a small fortune to ship to southern California. I also plan to eliminate the body wrap to make room to expand the lobby area to include a boutique with some accessories /clothing/ sunglasses/jewelry etc. Is there a place to list the Formostar for sale? Has anyone out there had success with the boutique offerings?

Yamahaguy.....Since I've not closed escrow yet I'm not positive I will be removing the body wrap. When I do I will contact you.

Folks...thanks for the interest in the body wrap. Just getting my feet wet after 10 days of ownership & we have so much going on with paint/carpet/tile/furniture etc. As soon as I get the construction stuff done I will have a chance to dig into selling the body wrap. Stay tuned!

Well Salon construction is just about done & I have the Formostar in my Garage ready to sell. The unit is a Formostar Exclusiv with 3010 hours on the timer and there is no information on the timer box about when it was manufactured. Searching this forum & others I see that the units sell for around $9000 new and that successful salon owners are getting $80-125 per 5o minute session.

Din offered me $500.00 if I was desperate but wanted me to deliver it to Canada & set it up for him...but I'm sure he was just trying to poke fun at a new salon owner. Honestly I think it's worth around $3000.00 because the "return on investment" could pay for itself in 20-25 sessions. I also have a portable massage table in good condition which we used in the wrap room and that is FREE with the purchase if someone wants to pay the shipping cost. This makes the entire system very portable and can be used in your salon or even used on an "outcall" if you want.

Need to BUMP this up. I had a few owners contact me directly but to date I still have this unit available and would really like to give someone the opportunity to start a new revenue stream now that "busy season" is starting. This Formostar is in great condition, the pads are near perfect with no stains, rips, abrasions or damage. THIS IS A MONEY MAKER FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS THE ROOM!
