Hi All!

My salon is for sale in Fort Wayne, IN. I would like to be able to sell the whole business, however, if that isn't possible I'll sell equipment one by one.

I started the business from scratch in 2003. All equipment has been exceptionally maintained.

Equipment:

5 entry level - TanScene (puretan)
2 level 2 - Elixir (Future Industries)
1 level 3 - SunCapsule (Future Industries)
1 level 4 - SunGate (future Industries)
14 rooms - Modular wall system (puretan)

I have decided to go ahead and start liquidating the equipment - and everything else in the studio.

Sungate: 15K
SunCapsule: 15K
Elixir: 8K
Tanscene: 4K
Modular wall system: 14 rooms - 14K
2 Dell desktop computers - $500 each
1 - 4' round glass / brushed nickel lobby coffee table: $150
8 lobby chairs: $10 each
1 cash register: $50

The SunCapsule is a 50 - 160 watt lamp unit. It has less than 20 hours on it. It was custom made FOR Future Industries by SunCapsule.

I am willing to negotiate, but it is worth a lot more than 5K. Maybe if it were ETS that would be a great price.

SOrry but that is the going price for used SunCapsules. It is the Perfect Ten, not the Starship, Cyclone or anything like that. If it were a HEx or ETS, you would be looking at $2-3k. But for SUncapsule, you are looking at $5-7k tops. I sold my 60/9's for about $5k each and they were better than the Perfect Tens.

Plus, it doesnt have a changing room attached.

That looks like a standard perfect 10. Which sold for about $10,000 - $11,000 new. I believe the standard configuration was 54 lamps but it is possible they could have made them with 50 lamps as well. Does not change the value though. Worth maybe $7,000 at best!

Not trying to bust your chops. Just keeping it real. I bought a Suncapsule Cyclone (50-200W) with changing room from this site last March for $5500. Only had 1000 hrs on it.

Hey, guys? If you don't want to buy the Sun Capsule that's fine. If you don't think it's worth what I'm asking, that's fine too. As I said, I will negotiate - as I did in my last post. I just want this stuff GONE so I don't have to worry about it anymore.

I believe the owner of my gym wants it for his new location.

2005, under 1000 hours, 180 watt reflectors, yes - it has AC, no damage

I'm a Personal Trainer and Nutritional Consultant - leaving the tanning industry to those who actually enjoy it. My studio was more of a big city type atmosphere. High ceilings, ceramic tile floors, top of the line equipment. People are just cheap asses and wanted to "haggle" with me. I should have just opened the norm for this city - cheap carpet, drop ceilings and built out walls. I guess I needed to be in Chicago, NY, CA - somewhere like that. My goals obviously don't match the standards of the simpletons around here

I'm moving asap too - lol

Solarsource, this is too bad...you have a nice salon and nice equipment mix with room for more even...
Good luck liquidating...it ALL should go fast! Seems you could of sold it "as is" turn key for someone to come in and take over??
