Default 2 Heartland Encore's

24 - 140w lamps & 4 - 500w facials in canopy. 20 - 160w lamps in the bench.

One is 2005, 1,100 hours. The other is 2004, 1,500 hours. Like new condition.

Asking $7,000 for both. This is under the going rate on this bed, especially given the age and condition. Need to move them quickly. I can send pictures if needed.

They have stronger lamps in the bench? What is with Heartland? My Bravos have mismatched 160s on top and 100s on the bottom. Came with the salon or I wouldn't have got them.

Heartland makes two styles of this bed - one has 160/100, the other 160's all around.

A 160/100 bed is very common in the industry. Many manufacturers make them. Most salon owners use them as a Level 2.

One would think you would get an uneven tan with having different levels of lamps in the same bed. I see a lot of companys do this. Is this because you're closer to the lamps in the bench. If this is the case, how come the sporterrado holiday 45s have only 80 watt in the canopy and 100 watt in the bench. I know the 80s are shorter lamps because of the facials, but it doesn't make sense that your tan would be the same top and bottom. Someone, please explain the concept. Thank you. Opps, wrong forum--maybe some good mod can move this.

Free press for JAS! Mine are at Level 2. What about the beds in the first post and the one PH is talking about? Why have stronger lamps on the bottom? Kinda screwy like a HP combo bed.

Short answer -

It will depend on the ballasts driving the lamps, the particular lamp composition (UVA vs. UVB spectrums), the distance from the lamps to the body, the reflector system utilized, etc.

Not screwy.

THe tan is even since you are closer to the bottom it doesn't need to be as strong.

On the 100 vs. 80 watt lamps, The F-59 80 watt lamp has the same output as the F-71 100 watt lamp. The extra length absorbs the extra power.

This is the same with F-71 160 watt and 2 meter 180 watt. These two have the same output but the longer lamp needs more power to achieve the same output..

Look at it this way. You are laying a couple of inches from the lamps in the base. It could be a foot or more to the lamps if it is a high dome canopy. I never had a problem with the beds that I have that use this setup.

I mispoke above. They have 160watt lamps in the bottom. The top is 140 watt, typical when you have facial lamps and have to use a shorter lamp in the top. Sorry for creating such a controversy.

These beds are actually on our level three, not two. They have 12' tan times.

Now, does anyone want to buy them? This is a very good price for a bed like this.

Beg your pardon...the Encore NEVER came with anything other than 160-watt lamps, top and bottom.

I have had 6 responses already, and to clarify the price is $7,000 for both, not each. They are priced to move.
