2nd sun tan

Has anybody purchased equipment from 2^nd sun tan, and would you care to share your experience with them. Has anybody been to their warehouse?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

2nd sun tan is simply a listing service. They don't actually warehouse the units themselves. My experience is that 2nd sun tan doesn't update their listings very often. Most of the time you're contacting someone who has already sold their bed.

Try buying from this site. There are a couple of guys here that have used beds for sale (as a business, not just once in a while). Try usedtanningbedsforless.com, the guy that runs that site is BrianOshman. You can also get a hold of the some of the distros on here and see they have used equipment to sell you.

I am getting some beds from usedtanningbedsforless.com already, but the name of the guy is Joe, not Brian.

However, I found something that I like on 2nd sun, and they claim to have a warehouse where they inspect all beds, and provide 60 days worranty, but do not take credit cards, which I find a little bit weird.

Well, I decided to get the truck and go to their warehouse myself and pick it up and pay on the spot, just to be on the safe side . I will let you know how it goes.

2ndSunTan is in Elk River MN and they do have a warehouse and broker beds. The majority of the beds listed on their site is from others though. There ar egood deals to be found or made on there. Others are dreaming.

Yes they do sell beds as well as list them for others. I buy a lot of our beds off of them. Don and Matt are great guys to deal with and I have nothing but good stuff to say about them! As for the listings not being updated that is usually the sellers (person that listed the ad) fault for not deleting their "sold" item.

STAY AWAY from 2nd sun tan. Don Nelson is the owner and he goes out and buys beds and sells them. He is a crook. He sold me beds and took me for around $6,000 personally. I bought 6 beds from him personally and he tore them up and shipped them to me. I spent $14,000 fixing them and he paid $8000 for parts and thats it. Oh yea he collected almost $12,000 from the trucking company that shipped them to me. He contacted and sent pics to the place I buy parts from to see what it would cost to fix them. This was before he put them on the truck that he filled the claim to.

You better have some good substaniated proof to back up what you're saying here about 2nd Sun. Slanderous remarks about a company w/o documentation could cost you big time.

Trucking companies can demolish beds, forklifts through them, smashed, fallen of the skid and now crushed, scraped bumped and bruised, and even once put a strap with the buckle on the face of the canopy so for 1000 miles it wiggled and scratched a ergo 650 at eye level.

Are you saying that the beds were trashed even before he shipped them, and he then turned in a damage claim to the freight hauler? That's fraud, plain and simple. If you can prove that, call the trucking company that delivered the beds.
